A homography approximates a planar surface. Vegetation, water, shadows and parallax can create differences. Marked regions need human review; they do not establish architectural changes.
Photographs, authors and licenses
Images resized to a maximum of 1600 px and converted to JPEG. Derived visualisations retain each photograph’s license. Quarkeon Labs did not take these photographs.

From viewpoints
to geometry.
Each landmark has its own COLMAP reconstruction, computed only from its catalogue photographs. Switch landmarks above, orbit the cloud and choose a gallery camera to inspect the coverage.

Select a view to orient the cloud from its estimated camera.
The initial frame uses the central 98% of sparse points so distant outliers do not obscure the architecture. Coverage corresponds to photographed surfaces; this is not a complete 360° model.

From archive to analysis.
Robust geometry
ORB and RANSAC in the browser. SIFT and MAGSAC in the Python project. Pairs with insufficient geometry are rejected.
Real reconstruction
SIFT, triangulation and bundle adjustment with COLMAP. CPU stereo with bidirectional and geometric checks, without interpolating points.
Visual evidence
Correspondences, alignment, differences and a 3D model to explore on screen. Metrics describe this demonstration, not production accuracy.
