Perspective Match

Align two images and localize visual differences.

WHO IT HELPS
Quality, print and vision integration teams.
WHAT IT DOES
Align two images and localize visual differences.
DEMO OUTPUT
Aligned views, correspondences, change regions and an exportable transform.

THE PROBLEM

Comparing photographs from different viewpoints can confuse camera motion with a change in a part or print.

THE WORKFLOW

SIFT and robust geometry estimate a homography, check correspondences and overlap, rectify the view and highlight differences. A reviewer can inspect matches, blend views and download the evidence.

Source: local pipeline execution on the identified inputs. CPU; no GPU. HTTP timings refer to the interface samples; for reconstruction they measure loading recorded geometry, not a new reconstruction. These are not customer outcomes or a guarantee on other data.

WHAT WE COULD BUILD WITH YOU

A comparison and rectification workflow for print, planar-surface inspection or visual change control.

What we would define first

Planar surface, capture, calibration, overlap, meaningful changes, lighting and rejection rules.

Demonstration limits

Twelve generated pairs with known transforms; four include planted changes. Each pair recovered corners with mean error below 2 pixels. This is a controlled test, not real print-line validation. Parallax, glare and interpolation can create false differences.
